Cody Rhodes Done with Impact Wrestling
Cody Rhodes’ wife Brandy confirmed on Twitter that Cody Rhodes is no longer working with Impact Wrestling. She noted that his dates with the company were complete when a fan asked why he hasn’t bee appearing on television for the company lately.
Cody is working the independent circuit and has an opportunity at the ROH title. He also will be working with NJPW and will be apart of their US expansion.
Bodybuilder Urges WWE to Drug Test Jinder Mahal for Steroid Use
Natural Bodybuilder Nick Miller published a new video to his YouTube channel that questions Jinder Mahal’s transformation from a “dad bod” to current physique.
After Miller pulls up the WWE Wellness Policy from the company’s website and he points out he believes there are at least four signs that Mahal has been using steroids. He urges that WWE should test him.
While Mahal has been very vocal about his transformation in recent interviews, he claims that he has been tested several times and has passed every test.

Harley Race Breaks Both Legs
According to WWE, Hall of Famer Harley Race has broke both his legs in a fall this past week. Here is an excerpt from their report:
WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race has broken both legs after a fall in his home in Troy, Mo. on Tuesday, WWE.com has learned.
Race sustained a fracture to his right femur and suffered breaks in his left fibula and tibia, as well as a spiral break of his left ankle. The WWE Hall of Famer required emergency surgery to relieve the swelling in both legs late Tuesday night. He subsequently received four blood transfusions and underwent surgery on Friday to reset the fractures.
WWE wishes Harley Race the best on the road to recovery.
Randy Orton & Other SmackDown Superstars Absent from Weekend Live Events
Randy Orton, Naomi and The Usos are all off this weekend SmackDown Live Events but will return for television this Tuesday.
The reason Orton has had time off is because he has vacation time. Naomi and The Usos have been off filming for an unknown project, which is being rumored to be a spin-off of Total Divas. Orton, The Usos and Naomi are scheduled to return to weekend Live Events next weekend.
Kelly Kelly’s Husband Goes Off on Fan Who Called Her A “Self-Centered Worthless Pig”
Former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly posted this photo and message on Instagram reflecting on her visit to Afghanistan years ago with WWE:

One male fan didn’t like her post and wrote the following response:
“Hahaha you post a picture of yourself on #MemorialDay could you be anymore of a self centered worthless pig?”
Her husband Sheldon Souray had the following remarks to say towards the fan’s negative comments:
“looks like you lost a fight with a barbell there you meathead. Does it make you feel like less of a man that a young lady that was/is adored and admired by so many brave men and women protecting our country for dipshits like you?!! Does it bother you that My wife is a young successful powerful woman with a heart of gold that put her life on the line to put a smile on a few faces?! Whatever the reason is that you felt compelled to write a moronic post on her page, just shows what an absolute piece of shit you are. I can’t respond to every big dumb idiot like yourself that trolls a superstar like @thebarbieblank but I couldn’t let it slide that you are a giant clown. So next time your trolling her social media looking at her stunning pictures that her fans really enjoy, keep your mouth shut. It’s hard to be dumber than you look but you’ve proven your point.”
Kelly responded to her husband sticking up for her with the following:

Several Backstage Notes on the Mae Young Classic
WWE will return to Full Sail University on July 13th and July 14th for the Mae Young Classic that will feature around 30 women wrestling in a tournament similar to the Cruiswerweight Classic.
While the company has already announced Jim Ross as one of the announcers for the event, it’s expected that the show will feature a female announcer too. It’s not known exactly who it will be, but it could possibly be Lita, Renee Young or someone completely new.
There will also be female referees for the tournament. Kennadi Brink debuted this past Thursday at an NXT Live Event as a referee, so it’s very possible that she will be one of them along with others.
We have also been informed that the backstage interviews and ring announcers are also expected to be women.
While no names have been confirmed for the tournament, Toni Storm, Kairi Hojo and Io Shirai are two of the latest names rumored for the two-day event.
We will keep you updated if we receive any more notes regarding the event.
