Paige Claims Alberto El Patron Never Hit Her

Paige issued the following statement on Twitter regarding the incident at the Orlando airport. In the statement she claims that Alberto El Patron never hit her and she’s never hit him, however admits that she has charges against her for throwing a drink on El Patron.

“Alberto didn’t want me to say full story because he didn’t want people to know and I didn’t want people to know that I threw a drink on him. But the full story is. I had a phone call saying my uncle is in a bad way. I’m crying outside the restaurant. I go in, alberto is hugging me. I’m a little sensitive and we start bickering about something so small. I say I’m leaving and he says something that I won’t write on here but it wasn’t nice and I, even though I shouldn’t have done it. I threw a drink in his face because I was so angry. Again. Shouldn’t have done it. It was in front of a lot of people. I walk out. He follows me a few seconds later and gets the cops and security and a crazy lady decides to leave whatever she’s doing to follow us and invade our privacy in the completely low way. Only low life people would do.

Anyways. It was ME who was being held for battery charges because I threw a drink on him. No. he never touched me and no I never hit him with a glass 3 times like the internet in all their glory is making out. Its completely ridiculous how one story can spiral out of control. Oh and guess what internet. He smelt like beer BECAUSE I THREW A BEER ON HIM. Nothing more. Nothing less. No one got arrested. There’s no mug shots. There’s no charges. Nothing. The horrible, disgusting human being of lady decided she wanted to make money out of our misfortune. I wish, WISH people would give us the privacy we deserve. I know we won’t get it. But I WISH that would happen.

And if you listen to that stupid audio. You will hear him saying he’s pressing charges on ME. We all say stuff when we are mad.

That’s all I will say about the airport situation. Again. Thanks for the privacy at this time.”

Reby Hardy Calls Out Jeff Jarrett — Says They Had An Agreement As of Last Week for “BROKEN” Gimmick

Jeff Jarrett claimed that there was no deal between The Hardy Boyz and Antheme over useage of the “BROKEN” gimmick during today’s GFW conference call. Reby Hardy took to her Twitter account after word got out of Jeff’s remarks and posted a series of tweets:

“I’m going to have to start ‘clarifying’ things by recording phone calls, apparently. Everything out of this loser’s mouth is BS.

Why tho ?

We had agreement terms as of LAST WEEK. Included non-disparagement clause to the tune of 5k every time I tweet something about TNA…

…but according to @RealJeffJarrett, there is nothing ? OKAY ! ? Who’s up for another run of #f***ThatOwl shirts ? They’ll be up by 2mor.

I haven’t said anything FOR WEEKS. Meanwhile, Jeff, Dutch & Ed all can’t seem to be able to keep us out of their mouths. Snakes.

‘Jeff Jarrett says…’
‘Jeff Jarrett says…’

OK, I’m seeing what he says, but what does he DO ? Well, make Del Rio champion, for one…

…I promise you, he knew exactly what was going on there. Meanwhile he’s worried about how WE’RE making $ ? #priorities #makeimpactgreatLOL”

Becky Lynch Has Words for UFC Fighter Cris Cyborg

As previously noted, Triple H sent out an invitation to Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor to add RAW to their promotional tour dates ahead of their boxing match on August 26.

Apparently fellow UFC Fighter Cris Cyborg wants in on that action as well and sent a tweet to Triple H telling him not to let Becky Lynch near her. She also commented on how Ireland can’t handle another star losing this summer.

Becky Lynch wasn’t going to let Cyborg’s remarks slide and mentioned how Cyborg needs to be sure Dana White would let her.

Dixie Carter Asked If She Would Be At RAW Next Week

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, former TNA President Dixie Carter was asked if she would be appearing on next week’s episode of RAW. She responded with the following:

“I did hear RAW will be in Nashville, which is very interesting. But I wouldn’t tell you either way.”

As previously reported, there is some online speculation that Dixie may play a role in the on-going storyline with Kurt Angle and the news that could “ruin him.” As of right now, it’s just speculation and nothing has been confirmed regarding Dixie showing up on RAW.

Reby Sky Claims Impact Can’t Afford To Go To Court Over “BROKEN” Gimmick

Reby Sky caught wind of Jeff Jarrett’s recent interview where he claims that Impact Wrestling owns the right’s to the “BROKEN” gimmick. He took to her Twitter and made the following remarks:

“Stop doing stupid interviews before I release your drunk texts & the DUI records that somehow haven’t gotten out WAIT OOPS. Don’t say you wanna be done with drama in a quiet manner & then have company stooges like Jeff & Dutch give interviews spewing BS. If the issue was as simple & cut/dry as these morons are trying to make it seem, I wouldn’t have been out here fighting for my family. Truth is TNA can’t afford to go to court over this, so they’re going to downplay it to anyone who will listen & lie to look powerful. Money is power. Never forget that.”

Bischoff on Wrestling Recap w/ Joe Koff – ROH Talk, Money in the Bank Thoughts, McGregor vs. Mayweather, More!

Bischoff mentions that he predicted months ago that Mayweather vs. McGregor was going to happen, because there was too much money to be made on both sides for it not to happen. He says that while Mayweather might be the favourite, McGregor is not your typical boxer. This might lead to Mcgregor putting Mayweather in some uncomfortable positions in the boxing ring.

Bischoff says that he can’t even compare this bout to CM Punk’s debut UFC outing against Mickey Gall. He says that McGregor has a much better chance to beat Mayweather than Punk had to beat Gall. At least McGregor is a fighter, where Cm Punk is not.

Bischoff informs that at one point he had an opportunity to purchase the UFC for $2 Million. This was ’98-’99, and the UFC brand was in the toilet. He took the call and listened, but he had no interest in the company at that time. The Fertitta brothers and Dana White would soon come into the picture and turn the UFC into a massive organization.

Speaking about the controversy surrounding the finish of the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, Bischoff thinks all the fan backlash is silly. He says that this is a storyline, and if you’re trying to make some kind of social/political statement from this, you’re going too far.

Vince Russo’s The Brand Recap – Hogan Refusing to Put Over Young Talent, Writing WCW with Bischoff, Relationship with HBK, More!

Russo is joined on todays’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane. They will cover part two of the April 10, 2000 episode of Monday Nitro.

Russo informs that he initially reached out to J.J. Dillon about going to work for WCW after having a meeting with Vince McMahon. Russo stressed that he wanted his wife to be able to move closer to her family, and he wanted to see his children more often. McMahon replied by saying that Russo has enough money to hire a nanny to take care of his children.

Russo did not appreciate that response and reached out to WCW. He knew that once he did that, his time in WWE was limited, whether he got a job in WCW or not. He informs that he doesn’t regret leaving WWE for WCW at this time at all, and he’d do the exact same thing tomorrow.

This episode was the first show that he and Eric Bischoff wrote together, and in spite of their differences, they managed to write some pretty good television together.

Mauro Ranallo Back with WWE

Mauro Ranallo announced on Instagram that he is back with WWE working under the NXT brand. He wrote the following remarks about his new gig with the company:

THE NXT CHAPTER BEGINS!

WWE and I mutually agreed to end my responsibilities on SmackDown having nothing to do with rumors about disputes. As I remained under contract with WWE, we discussed a variety of options. Despite originally agreeing to part ways, there was always a desire to continue working together. We have come to terms on a new agreement that benefits both WWE and me, and I am thrilled to announce I will now be part of the NXT broadcasting team.
