You can still make adjustments. There are a lot of things being set up for Clash Of Champions and every one of them so far is built around a championship match. That is a nice thing to see as title feuds are as easy of a match to put together as you can have. WWE has set up several matches already but one of them is a little more personal. That match will now get a little bonus.
The main event of Clash Of Champions will see WWE Champion Drew McIntyre defending against Randy Orton. The two of them have been feuding for over a month now, including McIntyre pinning Orton at Summerslam. Since then, they have traded kicks to the head and put one another on the shelf. Now we are going to be seeing something a little different in their rematch.

We are less than two weeks away from Clash Of Champions but more importantly this is In Your Face Raw, which is no way their big show to counter the debut of Monday Night Football. Therefore, the question here is how far do they get blown back to the Stone Age in terms of the ratings and viewership. Let’s get to it.

Here’s Drew McIntyre to open things up, now with the sound of a sword being pulled out of a sheath because that’s a thing WWE loves. We see a long recap of the exchange of kicks to the head over the last few years. Back in the arena, McIntyre says that Orton should be lucky that his head is still on his head. Keep them coming. We are less than two weeks away from Clash Of Champions and that means that the card still has some work to be done. With so many championships available to be defended, WWE needs to set up a few of their title matches over the next few weeks. Some of the title matches are already set but there are plenty more to go. WWE has now checked another off the list.
The Women’s Tag Team Titles have gotten a nice boost over the last few months. The titles are still less than two years old and they have a long way to go in the future. One of the best ways to build up the titles is to have teams fighting to hold the belts. It makes them feel more valuable and that is what we are going to be getting at Clash Of Champions. That’s a bad turn of events. One of the scariest parts of an injury is seeing just how long someone is going to be on the shelf. There are some injuries that you know are going to be a lot worse than others and the neck is one of the worst possible areas to have injured. Neck surgery can put someone on the shelf for a very long time if not permanently, and we might be seeing something similar soon.
Last week on Monday Night Raw, Ivar of the Viking Raiders hit a suicide dive during an eight man tag but immediately threw up the X sign, meaning that he was legitimately injured. It was the kind of injury that required him to be taken away on a stretcher after the match and then the waiting game was on. Ivar’s neck was clearly hurt, but the question was how bad. Now we know a bit more.

It’s something else. Over the years, a lot of wrestlers have tried their hand in acting. The two industries do seem to go hand in hand and it isn’t crazy to imagine a wrestler becoming a successful actor. However, that has rarely seemed to be the case, as a lot of wrestlers who have gone into the other field have not exactly been thriving successes. The Rock has been quite the example in the field, but now someone else is seemingly making a run at it.
Back in 2017, John Hennigan (better known as John Morrison of SmackDown fame) released a film called Boone: The Bounty Hunter, featuring himself as both the star and co-writer. The film was a step above the usual direct to video fare that you see from wrestlers and seemed to keep Hennigan’s interest in the field alive. Hennigan had some screen presence to him and now we are going to be seeing him in another movie role.

That’s some high praise. There is no bigger name in all of wrestling than Vince McMahon. An endorsement from him can make a wrestler’s career and that is the kind of thing you can only hope for at some point. Some wrestlers are going to impress him right off the bat though and that seems to be the case with someone who is still quite the newcomer to WWE.
Earlier this year, Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik began his in-ring career and immediately jumped into the deep end by feuding with former World Champion Seth Rollins. Dominik fought alongside and with his father against Rollins and Murphy while finding some success of his own. The results have been fairly strong and he has impressed the person whose opinion matters the most.

That didn’t take long. SmackDown has gotten a lot better in a short amount of time and the fans seem to be responding to the changes that they have been making. The show still has a long way to go, but they have some intriguing storylines that have caught the fans’ attention. One of them has been set up for a long time now and will be taking another step forward next week.
Last week on SmackDown, Bayley and Sasha Banks failed in their attempt to regain the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Banks was injured during the match and as she was being tended to, Bayley turned on her and injured Banks even worse. This included a bad knee injury and Bayley Pillmaniazing Banks’ neck. That would seem to put someone out for a long time, but it might not be as long as you would expect.
According to Wrestlingnews.co, FOX has been airing commercials advertising Banks returning to SmackDown on next week’s show. The ads say that she will be addressing the situation with Bayley after last week’s attack. It is ..

AHA! Wrestling fans often do not get the credit that they deserve. The stereotype about wrestling fan is often that they are not very intelligent, which could not be further from the truth in a lot of cases. Like any other sport or field of entertainment, there are some very intelligent wrestling fans out there and some of them can find out a few things that a lot of regular fans might miss.
Over the last two weeks, SmackDown has been airing vignettes of a mystery woman coming to the show. The woman’s face is never seen but she has long blonde hair and is carrying a fur coat. Her identity has been up in the air, but the question is whether she is someone who has been in WWE before or someone brand new. Now we might know a bit more, thanks to some eagle eyed fans.

I’d call it a hit. WWE television has not been at its strongest in recent months and that is not the biggest surprise. After several months of not so great stories and angles, WWE was then confined to the Performance Center due to Coronavirus. The venue did not serve them very well, though it could have been much worse. However, things have gotten a bit better since their move to the Amway Center in August, and now they have a nice reward as a result.
Back at Summerslam in August, Roman Reigns made his surprise return to WWE television after about five months off. Soon after that, Reigns joined forces with Paul Heyman in a major heel turn, which resulted in Reigns getting the Universal Title back. It has been a successful story and now we know a little bit more about just how popular the show has been getting lately.
