Let the battle begin. Earlier this month at AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view, Kenny Omega defeated “Hangman” Adam Page to win the World Championship Eliminator Tournament and become the new No. 1 contender to Jon Moxley and his title.
Tonight on Dynamite, it was announced that Moxley and Omega will have their title match on the December 2 edition of the program. Check out what Omega had to say about his upcoming match:

Editor’s Opinion:
At this point, I think that it’s a forgone conclusion that Kenny Omega will be the next AEW World Champion. However, I think that this match provides an opportunity for Moxley to prove that he can actually be competitive in a wrestling match against one of the best athletes in the world, instead of doing nothing but hardcore, deathmatch style matches. I hope that the two can put on a great show and give the fans a match that they can talk about for a long time, but only time will tell.

There’s your celebrity involvement. Celebrities have been a part of wrestling for a very long now and that makes sense for a reason. Bringing someone from outside the wrestling world into the fold is something that is always going to get some interest and if they are a person who has an athletic background, things can get even better. That is the case again with AEW, who is talking about a big name.
AEW is in a great place as they are getting to air their television show on TNT. That is a major cable network and something that has a lot of connections to some more mainstream sports. They also have some rather big names of their own on the network and one of them has been involved in wrestling before. That is going to be the case again, as he was brought up this week.

It’s good to have him back. An injury is one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler. You never know when someone can be put onto the injured list but the bigger problem is wondering when they will be back on the active list. Some injuries are worse than others but now one of the bigger names on the injured list is going to be back sooner rather than later.
As is the case with most wrestling companies, NXT is built around its stars and in particular, its main champion. For some reason though, the NXT Title has seemed to be a little bit cursed as of late, with Karrion Kross being injured during his title win and having to vacate the title. Then new champion Finn Balor was injured as well, putting him on the shelf for several weeks. He would be back at some point though and now we know when that will be.

Well that was a surprise. Titles are the things that make wrestling shows go around and that has been the case for a very long time now. They are symbols of success and greatness, with a champion instantly being seen as a bigger deal than a regular member of the roster. That is the case in NXT as well, and now we have a rather surprising title change that you probably did not see coming.
There are very few bigger and more successful names in the history of NXT than Johnny Gargano. He has been a star for a very long time now and has won everything there is to win in NXT. At the same time though, he has a bad history when it comes to successfully defending his singles titles. It has been seen as a curse for him, and it turns out that there is something to the idea.

It’s the show after Full Gear and that means we have a long time to go before Revolution at the end of February. There is a lot of ground to cover on the way to that show and that means they have the time to set up more than a few things. Nice to meet you. While it might not be as popular as it was before, WWE is still the biggest and strongest wrestling promotion in the world. It is still the most well known company in all of the industry and that is going to make it an attractive target for a lot of wrestlers. A lot of wrestlers would love to make it to WWE and now a group of them might be making their way there.
While it is not the top of the WWE charts, NXT has become a very attractive place for wrestlers to go. It has become a special destination for wrestlers and the roster has some of the more talented wrestlers in the world. They are also constantly rotating names in and out as some names are going to go up to the main roster from time to time. Now they might get three new names added to their ranks.

So much for that. Back in February 2019, WWE brought back the Women’s Tag Team Titles after a nearly thirty year absence. The move changed the way the women’s division worked and that was a very good thing. Suddenly there were several new doors opened up for the wrestlers and while they took some time to get going, the titles have finally started to get somewhere with several new teams. However, one newly formed team seems to already be done.
Just before the WWE Draft back in October, the IIconics were split up due to losing a match to the Riott Squad on Monday Night Raw. This was a bit of a surprise as the team had been one of the more successful in WWE but now it was time for them to be pushed on their own. Make sure he has a good seat. One of the bigger surprises this year has been the Undertaker officially announcing his retirement. That is something that seemed to be imminent for years but now it has finally taken place. Undertaker has been around WWE for thirty years now and that means he probably has a lot to say.
