WATCH: Amazing Wrestling Proposal (Contains Strong Language)

Yeah I’d say that’s memorable. There are certain moments in wrestling that fans are going to remember for a long time to come. Maybe it is something that stuck with fans because it was great or because I had some kind of emotional impact, but the connection is there. Sometimes it is personal, and that is the case for a couple of wrestlers who are ready to take a big step.
This is one of those things you don’t forget. Check out a special proposal:

Former Champion Makes Surprise Return At Impact Wrestling Rebellion

Welcome back. It might be hard to fathom but Impact Wrestling has been around for the better part of twenty years. The company has seen a lot of talented people come and go over the years with several of them having multiple stints with the company. Some of these returns have been great and that seems to be the case again as another star from the past has returned.
Former Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde returned to Impact Wrestling during this weekend’s Rebellion pay per view. Wilde appeared following Deonna Purrazzo’s successful Knockouts Title defense over Tenille Dashwood to save Dashwood from a post match attack. This set up a staredown between Wilde and Purrazzo. Wilde’s return had been announced on Impact Wrestling, but no specific date was given.
Wilde wrestled for Impact Wrestling from 2008-2010, during which she won the Knockouts Tag Team Titles twice and the Knockouts Title once. Since leaving the promotion, Wilde wrestled briefly on the independent circuit but has not wres..

VIDEO: Former WWE Star Makes Surprise Impact Wrestling Debut

Nice to meet you! There are several wrestling promotions around today but WWE is pretty easily the largest and best known. Working for WWE can open all kinds of doors for a wrestler’s career and let them have quite the career after leaving the company. Seeing a former WWE star debut elsewhere can be quite the moment and now we have seen a rather big one.
Former WWE star Big Cass, appearing under the name W. Morrissey, short for his real name of William Morrissey, made his Impact Wrestling debut at Rebellion 2021. Morrissey appeared as a replacement for the injured Eric Young for Violent By Design in an eight man tag. Young made it clear that Morrissey was not a full member of the team. It is not clear if Morrissey is with the company full time going forward.
Morrissey wrestled for WWE from 2013-2018, mainly teaming with Enzo Amore. The two of them regularly challenged for various Tag Team Titles but Morrissey never won any titles in the company. Since leaving the company, Morrissey h..

Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2021 Results

Rebellion 2021
Date: April 25, 2021
Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee
Commentators: D’Lo Brown, Matt Striker
Rich Swann vs. Kenny Omega, title for title. I would talk about the rest of the show but none of it matters in the slightest, which you would know if you have been watching the TV shows. Nothing else has gotten any significant attention in the build, which does make some sense. Hopefully it lives up to the considerable hype. Let’s get to it.
The opening sequence focuses on Omega vs. Swann, with Omega talking about how being the best goes so far beyond being the best in the ring. The rest of the card gets far less attention.
X-Division Title: TJP vs. Ace Austin vs. Josh Alexander Austin, with Madman Fulton, is defending. Alexander and TJP go after the champ to start with Austin kicking Alexander in the head. TJP gets taken down so Alexander goes for the ankle lock on Austin. That’s broken up so Alexander gets caught in TJP’s Octopus hold. With that not lasting lon..

It’s the go home show for Rebellion and I’m curious to see how they push the rest of the card. The main event is long since set but we need more of the card being built up. We should be in for a good pay per view but some of that is going to be based on a good go home show. Let’s get to it.
We open with a video on Rich Swann vs. Kenny Omega, including last week’s press conference.
Opening sequence.
Decay vs. Good Brothers Rosemary is here with Decay. Anderson and Steve start things off with the former firing off some uppercuts. Steve gets smart by grabbing the arm and brings in Taurus to chop away in the corner. Decay takes turns on the arm but Andreson gets Taurus over to the corner so Gallows can hammer away.
A shot to the mask sets up Anderson’s chinlock, followed by Gallows’ elbows to the chest and a chinlock of his own. That’s broken up as well and the h..

205 Live Results – April 16, 2021

205 Live
Date: April 16, 2021
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Tampa, Florida
Commentators: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness
This is the most up and down show you are going to find in WWE as there are weeks where you get good stuff but then there are weeks that have absolutely nothing going on whatsoever. You might as well flip a coin to figure out which you’re going to see here and that is kind of scary situation. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Jake Atlas vs. Ashante Adonis Feeling out process to start, including some light kicks to the leg. Atlas cranks on the arm and grabs the armbar to keep Adonis in a bit of trouble. Adonis is right back with a knee to the ribs to take over for all of about three seconds, as Atlas sends him shoulder first into the buckle. It’s way too early for the cartwheel DDT though as Adonis shoves him out to the floor.
Back in and Adonis goes after the arm for a change, with Atlas not being able to roll his way to freedom. Atlas finally kicks his way o..

Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2021 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

We haven’t been around for one of these in a little while. Impact Wrestling is back with another of its quarterlyish pay per views with Rebellion, and this time it is al about the guest star. The big main event is AEW World Champion Kenny Omega vs. Impact Wrestling World Champion Rich Swann in a title for title match. Impact has done everything it can to make this interesting and it has gone about as well as you would expect. Maybe the rest of the show can make up for it. Let’s get to it.
Tag Team Titles: FinJuice(c) vs. Good Brothers Let’s get this out of the way to start: FinJuice is not very interesting. They’re talented in the ring, but their characters in Impact boil down to “we’re from New Japan and like wrestling.” Unless I’ve missed something, there isn’t much more to them than that. I understand why it’s a big deal to have the titles defended in New Japan for Impact but it doesn’t do much for the champs. The Good Brothers aren’t much better, but at least they’re around.

Backstage Reaction To Mark Carrano Being Fired From WWE

What a nice guy. The big story coming out of WWE this week was the situation involving Mickie James’ belongings being sent to her in a trash bag following her release. This did not sit well with the higher ups in WWE and the company’s talent relations department was shaken up as a result. This included some major firings, and now we know a bit more about one of the people fired.
Mark Carrano, a longtime member of the talent relations department was let go over the situation. Former NXT interviewer Christy Olson, co-host of the Wrestling Inc. Daily Podcast, discussed Carrano on the most recent episode and said that she was not surprised by him being fired. Olson described Carrano as being around several of the recent talent releases and suggested that he is the person who was around to intimidate talent into thinking they could be fired at any time. There was a bit more to Carrano than that though and it is not exactly pleasant.
Several former WWE wrestlers have spoken about Carrano, ..

Mickie James Responds To Garbage Bag Situation

Can you blame her? One of the bigger and in a way sadder stories from WWE this week came when Mickie James revealed that her belongings had been returned to her in a garbage bag following her release from WWE. This has set off a group of similar stories from other former WWE stars, many of whom have said something like this happened to them. But what does James think now that everything has gotten so big?
Following James’ story coming out, both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon apologized to her on Twitter, while also revealing that the person who made the decision to pt her belongings in the bag no longer works for WWE. James responded to McMahon’s tweet on Friday, thanking her for both the professional and personal apologies. James also said that receiving her belongings in a trash bag was symbolic of how she was used in WWE over the last three years.
James returned to WWE in 2017 and aligned herself with Alexa Bliss. This was her main story following her return as she was mainly used..

WWE RUMOR: Wacky New Pairing Coming In NXT

Get it on the books. Having the right name is one of the most important things a wrestler can do. If someone gets stuck with a name that does not work for them for one reason or another, it can almost ruin anything that they are going to be able to do. This holds up for both singles wrestlers and tag teams, and now a new NXT pairing might have a rather specific name of their own.
According to Sportskeeda.com, WWE has filed a trademark for the team name “In-Dex”. While not confirmed, this would seem to be for the combination of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis, who have been paired together in NXT. Hartwell has a crush on Lumis, who carried her away from the ring during an eight person tag earlier this month. Lumis has seemed to show feelings for Hartwell, but has still said nothing.
Hartwell’s feelings for Lumis have also caused a riff in the Way, as the rest of the team, including Johnny Gargano in particular, do not care for Lumis. This comes after Hartwell left an eight person tag w..

Sounds Legit: MC Hammer Praises WWE’s Naomi

That’s a celebrity endorsement. If there is one thing that WWE loves to receive, it is attention from stars outside of the company. It is fairly rare for celebrities to be big wrestling fans but you find one every now and then. That can make for some interesting surprises, and that seems to be the case again as a pretty well known musician has some praise for a Monday Night Raw star.
Music legend MC Hammer has posted some tweets praising Naomi, including sending in some clips of her in the ring. One of the tweets says that Naomi has “elite skills” and another included applause emojis. The clips that Hammer includes are mainly from older matches, including one from Elimination Chamber 2017 when Naomi faced Alexa Bliss when Naomi won the SmackDown Women’s Title.
Naomi is currently participating in the women’s tag team division with partner Lana. The two have been teaming together since the beginning of the year and have unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Nao..

Backstage News On A WWE Winning Streak You Might Have Missed

That’s a good reason. While a lot of wrestling fans might forget it at time, a wrestling company is in business to make money. This can cause some rather strange decisions, but there is often a reason for that being the case. It might not make things better, but it can explain a few things. That is the case again with a current story, as a minor WWE story is being done to make someone happy.
Mansoor is currently on a year and a half long winning streak, having not lost a match since August 2019 at an NXT live event. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mansoor’s current winning streak is being used as a way to appease the kingdom of Saudi Arabia during WWE’s partnership with the country. While Mansoor has wrestled almost exclusively on Main Event and 205 Live, he has won over fifty matches in a row without a loss, which is being promoted on those shows. It is not clear when WWE will be back in Saudi Arabia, but they are hoping to go back at some point this year.
