That seems to be the case again, as a star who is probably going to be on the card is injured. Now we know some more about the situation.

According to PWTorch.com, Rousey aggravated a prior injury, meaning that the planned tag team match between Rousey/Shayna Baszler vs. Nox/Natalya had to be changed. The Other Side: MJF Allegedly Said He’s “Looking Forward To Being” In WWE In 2024

They have his attention. AEW has come into its own in recent years, offering wrestlers a new high level home outside of WWE. After decades of WWE dominating the wrestling landscape, there is a secondary option around. That does not mean everyone is going to want to stay there though, and now one of the biggest names in AEW might be signaling that it is time for a change.

We are done with No Surrender and that means we are at least one step closer to Rebellion in April. Josh Alexander is still the World Champion after retaining over Rich Swann, but now Steve Maclin is waiting on the champ. That should make for a good buildup and they have time to make it work. Let’s get to it.
We open with a recap of No Surrender.
Here is the Bullet Club for a chat to start. Chris Bey is rather happy about what he and Ace Austin have been doing lately, including beating the Motor City Machine Guns (in a six man tag) at No Surrender. Bey talks about helping set up the ring in this building before making his Impact Wrestling debut here as well. It turns out that Austin debuted here too but he would rather talk about beating Chris Sabin.
After revealing Austin’s “I BEAT CHRIS SABIN”, we get a quick audience poll over who the be..

WRESTLING RUMORS: SmackDown Star Reportedly Injured, #1 Contenders Match Possibly Impacted

That could change things. There are certain things that can happen to any wrestler at any time and an injury is one of the worst. You never know when you might see someone get injured and anyone can get hurt no matter how trained or experienced they are. Now it seems that a WWE veteran is hurt and that could cause some issues for an upcoming important match.

It’s the final show before Revolution and that means this week is live. Normally I would say a pay per view card is set two days before the show but AEW has a tendency to throw in a bunch of stuff at the last minute. This week will also see Dustin Rhodes/Keith Lee vs. Mogul Affiliates so let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Aussie Open vs. Claudio Castagnoli/Wheeler Yuta vs. Top Flight vs. Dark Order The Dark Order jumps Castagnoli/Yuta in the aisle to start but Top Flight dives onto all four of them. Aussie Open drives Top Flight together as JR talks about needing to win to get a pay per view pay day. Ross: “Am I right about that?” And he is completely ignored, as that doesn’t seem to be right.
We get inside for the bell with Top Flight dropkicking Aussie Open with Davis being knocked to the floor. Reynolds comes in and hits a running elbow on ..

Now that is awesome. Wrestlers are a lot of things at once but for many fans, they are nothing short of heroes. That was the situation this week in one of the cooler things that you will see in wrestling for a good while.

Casting Conflicts: Multiple Wrestlers Upset With Not Appearing On ROH TV Despite Being Present

Can you blame them? There are all kinds of wrestling promotions around the world today and some of them have quite the audience. This is often the result of a television, or at least streaming, presence, with fans being able to see the show around the country or even the world. Appearing on such a show can mean a lot for a wrestler’s career, which is why some issues have arisen.

She’s Rowdy: Ronda Rousey Injured In Pre-SmackDown Brawl, Possible WrestleMania Implications

Ouch? With less than a month to go before WrestleMania 39, almost anything that happens on a WWE show is going to have some kind of ramifications on the upcoming big nights. Another of those things might have happened this week and that could tie into a bigger story.

Rough Landing: AEW Star Out Of Action Due To Injuries Suffered In Nasty Wrestling Crash

It’s a dangerous sport. There are all kinds of ways a wrestler can get hurt inside the ring but it can be just as dangerous outside. REVIEW: WrestleMania 7: Stars And Stripes And More Stars

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be?

It’s the Gulf War show, as Hulk Hogan is fighting to get the WWF Title back from former American hero turned Iraqi sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter.
