Brock Lesnar Rumors Swirling

Brock Lesnar is back in the news again, as rumors are now swirling about The Beast returning to UFC this year. According to a twitter account that has broken UFC news in the past, is currently saying that Lesnar is back in the USDA testing pool for an Octagon return.

Now, at this point, these are just rumors, but with past WWE talk of pushing up Roman vs Lesnar to SummerSlam after planning on it for next year’s WrestleMania, this could just be pieces of the puzzle falling into place. We will probably get a clear picture of things as SummerSlam draws closer.

And, of course, there’s his announcing his retirement from MMA to consider (his USDA one year suspension should have just ended, but it was frozen since he was no longer in the testing pool; I suppose he could always get another exemption). Like I said, these are just rumors.

WWE Battleground Poor Ticket Sales

With WWE Battleground coming up this Sunday, you’d think that the Wells Fargo Center would be close to sold out for the SmackDown Live PPV. That’s not the case, apparently. There are reportedly hundreds upon hundreds of tickets still available for the event, ranging in price from $25 to $500, with tickets on the secondary market going for an average price of right around $150.

Looks like that big old Punjabi Prison main event between Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal isn’t that big of a selling point for WWE. Not really a big surprise.
