Braun Strowman Injury Update: Out Up To Six Months?
Well, the news is not good on the Braun Strowman injury front. As we reported last week, The Monster Among Men was written off television during last Monday’s episode of RAW due to an elbow injury that required surgery. Strowman left the European Tour early to return home and undergo the procedure, and today, we got more information on how long he is going to be out.
According to WWE’s “official” story, Strowman had his elbow “shattered” by Roman Reigns’ attack on last week’s RAW. Since this is highly unlikely, especially seeing as how Strowman was posting pictures of himself and his sister after last week’s show in London on his Instagram page, I am guessing this is the storyline injury.
However, Strowman underwent surgery on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala. with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, and as we originally reported, he is more than likely still expected to miss only a couple of months of in-ring action.
As for what happens at June’s Extreme Rules with Roman Reigns, who was expected to face Strowman in the main event of the show, WWE should kick off a rumored temporary storyline between Roman and Bray Wyatt on tonight’s RAW. As for July’s Great Balls Of Fire, where Strowman was expected to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title, expect WWE to put plans in place to add a new face to that match on tonight’s show, as well.
