Full Match: Goldberg vs. Kevin Owens From “Fastlane 2017”

Blink and you’ll miss it. Back in 2016, Goldberg returned to WWE and decided that it was time for one last run. This included defeating Brock Lesnar in a shocking win at “Survivor Series 2016” and then an appearance in the 2017 Royal Rumble. After those performances, next up was a run at another World Title, with Goldberg’s shot coming against Kevin Owens at “Fastlane 2017”.

WWE has posted the full version of Goldberg vs. Owens on its YouTube page. The match, which didn’t even break thirty seconds, saw Goldberg hit a spear and a Jackhammer to win the title, setting up his title match at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” against Brock Lesnar. The match is one of the shortest World Title changes in history and the fastest in Universal Title history. Opinion: I’m still not happy with the way this went down as the same story could have been told between Goldberg and Lesnar without the title being involved. Either way, Goldberg winning the title here may ..

Fans Not Happy with Brock Lesnar vs. Kane Result

The Big Red Machine and the Big Red Belt. Over the last few months if not years, Kane has been starting to distance himself from the ring. This includes wrestling far less frequently and making fewer appearances in general. The same is at least somewhat true of Brock Lesnar, who defended his Universal Title against Kane on Saturday night. The match wasn’t exactly well received.
Here’s most of the match.

According to fans who attended the show, the match only lasted about thirty seconds. Lesnar won the match by escaping a chokeslam and hitting an F5 to retain the title. This was Lesnar’s first match since “Royal Rumble 2018” and Kane’s first since losing to Braun Strowman on the January 29 “Monday Night Raw”. Fox Making Big Push for WWE Broadcasting Rights

This could be big. One of the big stories coming up for WWE over the rest of the year is where will their home be on Monday nights. WWE has been on the USA Network since 2005 in their current stint with both “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live” airing on the network. However, a new deal might be coming up that would change things in a very big way.
Raw on USA certainly has its memories.

According to the Sporting News, Fox Sports is now making a push towards the WWE broadcasting rights. The plan would see “Monday Night Raw” broadcast on the Fox network while “Smackdown Live” would air on Fox Sports 1, a cable channel. Formal negotiations can begin in the spring and a decision is expected between May and September of this year. If Fox does acquire WWE programming, it would drop the UFC programming that it currently airs. WWE’s current deal with NBC Universal expires on September 30, 2019 so if the deal takes place, it won’t be kicking i..

Impact Wrestling Results – March 1, 2018

Impact Wrestling
Date: March 1, 2018
Location: Impact Zone, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Josh Matthews, Sonjay Dutt
It’s the week before the big Crossroads show and that means it’s time to build things up a bit. Next week’s main event will see Austin Aries defending the World Title against Johnny Impact in what could be an awesome match. Other than that though we’re likely in for more build towards Abyss vs. Kongo Kong, because that’s what we need to see. Let’s get to it.
In case you need a recap, here are last week’s results.
The opening video looks at Ethan Carter III and Tyrus reuniting and then splitting up in very short order.
Opening sequence.
Ethan Carter III vs. Tyrus
Carter runs his mouth (as is his custom) and is promptly shoved out to the floor. Back in and Carter gets shoved outside again as Josh talks about all the other companies they’ll be visiting soon. Carter stalls a lot, including messing with a fan’s phone, before going back in to have his arm cranked. Ch..

Undertaker and Kane Reunite for Fundraiser (Photo)

Keeping it in the family. Every wrestler needs something to do after they get out of the ring. Some go into acting, others go into real estate and some train the next generation. One however wants to enter politics and is running for Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. As luck would have it, he has an older brother to help him out.
They’ve helped each other out before.

In a fundraiser for his mayoral campaign, Kane held an event in Tennessee on Thursday with a special appearance by the Undertaker. This is part of a series of events Kane is running, including a recent live podcast with Chris Jericho. Kane last wrestled for WWE on January 29 in a loss to Braun Strowman on “Monday Night Raw”, though he is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar at a house show on March 3. Undertaker and masked Kane. Unfortunately they wouldn’t allow me to take a photo with my phone. Picture will hopefully be posted later when it gets uploaded to the net. #JacobsforMayo..
