Breaking: SmackDown Live Moving To FOX In 2019 And Changing Nights

Meet the new home, same as the old home. Over the last few weeks, one of the biggest stories has been the upcoming changes to the WWE television home. While it seems that Monday Night Raw is going to be sticking around in its same time slot thanks to a major deal with NBC Universal, SmackDown Live was up in the air. Now though, we seem to know where it’s landing. According to ESPN, SmackDown Live will be moving to FOX (the main network rather than FOX Sports 1) in October 2019. While no specifics have been confirmed, the Hollywood Reporter reports that the deal is worth over $1 billion over five years. It should also be noted that according to The Wrap, SmackDown Live will be moving to Friday nights. Neither WWE nor Fox commented on the deal, which has yet to be publicly announced.
Since they’re changing networks, make sure to remember the times they were together.

Video: Top Ten Wall Busters

Are you ok? Because you just got thrown through a wall. In wrestling, you can see people having all sorts of horrible things done to them. It might be a suplex, a right hand, or some kind of complicated hold. Other things require something a little bit more basic though, like throwing them through something rather hard. Like, say, a wall. It makes for quite the power display, or at worst looks rather devastating. WWE thinks so too and we’re hitting the countdown as a result.
These things always look good.

WWE has released a new Top Ten video, looking at the greatest Wall Busters in history. Most of these are from modern WWE and several of them involve people going through the LED wall on the stage, but the list also goes to other promotions. It also sees various moments of people being put through walls backstage, many of which involve someone throwing someone much smaller through in a huge crash. The list was inspired..

John Cena And Nikki Bella Together For First Time Since Split

Together again. It seems that we can’t go a single day without having something happen between the now split up Nikki Bella and John Cena. The couple, who was scheduled to be married earlier this month, broke up instead and drama has ensued ever since. The story began to take different paths every day with one bit of breaking news after another. It seems possible that the two could get back together, which would start with the two being in the same place. As it turns out, that seems to have started. There are other signs that this might be working. Check out some hints here.
According to the New York Daily News, Cena and Bella were seen together for the first time since their engagement ended, getting some coffee on Saturday in San Diego. While the two split up just a few weeks ago, Cena has since changed his mind and said that he wants to marry Bella. At the same time though, Bella has said she’s not completely done but needs more time to make sense of everything.

Official Monday Night Raw Preview – May 21, 2018

One rung at a time. With Money in the Bank about a month away, there are several things left to do on Modnay Night Raw before it’s time to climb. How Is Ronda Rousey’s Ego Backstage In WWE?

That sounds like a good reputation to me. Ronda Rousey was once the most dangerous woman in the world and the most dominant woman in UFC history. Now she’s come to WWE and brings a lot of star power with her. However, with that star power, there comes the chance that you might find yourself to be a bigger star than everyone else around you. Rousey come into wrestling as a lifelong fan, but does she have the same problems with star power as others may have had? What will Rousey be doing on screen soon? Check here to find out.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rousey has had no issues with star power whatsoever. She has been described as “100%” tremendous and having no issues. Rousey is even seen as humble given how big of a star she was before she came into the company and has no issues with her ego. It’s been an issue before with other major sports names who come into the company and see it as beneath them due to their status but it’s not happening in Rousey’s case.

Rumor Killer On Big Cass Injury Reports

Another one bites the dust. The selling of an injury is a dying art in wrestling. While the selling done during the matches themselves isn’t bad, there’s a forgotten aspect to the whole thing: selling the injuries after the match is over. Leaving out the idea of looking and acting injured on the streets, there’s the concept of not just getting out of the ring and walking to the back like nothing happens. It’s rare enough these days that just seeing it happen can still fool the fans, which seems to be the case on the European tour. In case you need something a bit lighter involving wrestling, check this out.
According to NoDQ.com, Big Cass was seen limping after a recent match in Amsterdam. This video, which can be seen below, isn’t the best sign as Big Cass is freshly back from a torn ACL that kept him out of action for over six months. However, a new report from Wrestlinginc.com says that this has been the case for every match on the tour as Big Cass is selling the injuries from Dani..

WWE Has Reportedly Lost Interest In Entire Tag Team Division

According to Ringside News, WWE may be completely losing interest in their entire tag team division. This applies to both Raw and SmackDown Live. Mike Johnson indicated on PWInsider Elite Radio that the company may not really care about the division anymore, given the lackluster angles as of late.
Here is what he had to say: “I think they have decided that nobody involved in the tag division is worth their time and they’re not going to invest into it because they don’t think it makes them any money. And That’s that.”
Whether this is true or not remains to be seen, but there are definitely signs to suggest it is how WWE feels right now.
Tag teams have been thrown together on Raw, while on SmackDown Live there is barely any action involving the current tag teams beyond the storyline with The New Day and The Bar.
Ringside News notes that this can also be explained by teams getting wins and taking a multitude of losses afterward. They also claim a number of storylines and angles have h..

USA Network May Not Want To Continue With WWE At All

According to an article by Ringside News, the USA Network may not want to continue working with WWE in any capacity moving forward. As we’ve heard, SmackDown Live is expected to move to another Network or social media site moving forward. USA Network does not want to continue paying for both Raw and SmackDown Live.
To add to this speculation, Raw has not signed on for a new deal yet with the USA Network. It appears that the Network could be in search of a new professional wrestling property to air.
This appears to be due to the cost of having WWE programming on their Network. From what we hear, the new deal would be worth a lot more than the current one they have.
Dave Meltzer commented on this matter on the Wrestling Observer Radio. He believes that the USA Network has no real big shows to draw ratings besides WWE programming.
If WWE were to leave their Network, they would lose a lot. They could have the mindset of taking a chance with a smaller wrestling company, paying them less..
