Austin Aries Announces Release Of His Autobiography; WWE Creative Issues
Austin Aries Releases New Book
WWE Superstar Austin Aries took to social media last evening before RAW to announce the news that he will be releasing a book on June 9th via Grey Book Publishing. Marking Aries’ first venture into writing, the autobiography entitled Food Fight: My Plant-Powered Journey from Bingo Halls to the Big Time, has been penned with the help of Mike Tully.

Described as a revealing memoir, promotional material for the book states that Aries is open about his upbringing, his illegal activities after college, falling in love with wrestling, and his long journey through the independent ranks. The book is also an account of Aries’ life as a vegetarian turned vegan following a personal awakening that led to his decision to never consume any animal products whatsoever.
WWE Booking Issues
It seems booking within WWE is going through the motions at present because there is simply a shortage of ideas. In relation to the company’s heavy use of multi-person matches on TV, the indication is that these are essentially a temporary stop-gap to fill the time until late summer.
While things are expected to speed up in July and August, it’s being reported that there are still no concrete plans in place for SummerSlam this year. The news will do nothing to help bring viewers back to the product, which is particularly alarming given that RAW dipped to a 2017 record low just over a week ago.
