Another Big Wrestling Star Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Next on the list. The Coronavirus pandemic has started rocking the world all over again and this time in greater numbers. There are only so many things that can be done to bring the already high numbers down, and now the wrestling world is being impacted as well. That is the case again with a prominent star, who might be missing out on an upcoming big match as a result.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact Wrestling’s Rich Swann has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The diagnosis has caused him to miss an AAW event earlier this week in Chicago and it is not clear when he will be allowed to return to the ring. Swann is currently scheduled to take part in a ten man Tag Team Hardcore War at Impact Wrestling Hardcore War on January 8.

Swann has been a big part of Impact Wrestling. Check out his time with the company:

Opinion: This is the kind of story that you are going to hear more and more frequently for the time being, as wrestlers are going to be testing positive on a fairly regular basis. It might not be pleasant but that is the new reality we live in at the moment. Hopefully everything is on with Swann sooner rather than later, though you never can be sure about something like this.

What do you think of Swann? Will he ever be World Champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
