In a recent development, aEW Dynamite is live this evening from Houston, TX. at 8/7c on TBS and HBO Max.

MJF Is Ready For 6-On-6 Warfare The show kicks off with a live cold open shot of Lexy Nair in the back with MJF and The Don Callis Family. MJF talks trash about virtually everyone on the lineup, including a shot at Mark Briscoe for only being famous because his father died. Additionally, he then let Don Callis take over the microphone.

Callis then goes on to list MJF’s teammates for the six-on-six battle in this evening’s featured contest and the steel cage match at AEW Forbidden Door. Knight is in, so is Fletcher, Doyle, Okada, and Andrade. When Andrade is named, he tries speaking up. In a connected development, callis tells Andrade his time will come, though for now, do the match. He walks off and the Sum 41 Dynamite theme hits as we shoot inside the arena.

Kenny Omega vs. Furthermore, tony Nese We see Tony Nese in the ring as the commentators inform us that he demanded a clash before the show went live. The theme for Kenny Omega hits, and it turns out, he’s got one. The commentators promote Omega vs. as a dream match as Omega goes on to beat Nese in a quick squash with the One Winged Angel. Zack Sabre Jr.

Winner: Kenny Omega TMDK Confronts The Elite

The rest of TMDK come out along with Zack Sabre Jr. Additionally, omega exits the ring, but gets back on the apron when The Young Bucks and Jack Perry come out to even up the numbers. Omega points out that at Forbidden Door it’ll be he and ZSJ going one-on-one.

Daniel Garcia & Jon Moxley vs. Bandido & Brody King Garcia and Bandido will start this one off. To add further context, garcia runs his mouth and pie faces Bandido. Lock-up, go behind and a mat arrival back by Garcia, and he kicks “dirt” on Bandido. In a connected development, another lock-up, Bandido takes Garcia to the mat and kicks “dirt” on him.

Garcia with a side headlock takedown, both men struggle on the mat, however Bandido kips up! Garcia threatens Bandido with finger guns. We get leapfrogs and roll throughs before Bandido connects on a dropkick. King gets the tag and he scoop slams Garcia.

King tells Bandido to get into the ring, he picks him up, and he slams Bandido onto Garcia. It’s time for the macarena, yet Garcia breaks it up because he’s feeling it. Garcia does his little dance. Moxley isn’t remarkably happy. Mox tags in.

Now with Moxley and King in the ring, they circle each other, and we get a forearm battle, with neither man giving any ground. Moxley strings together a series of forearms and chops which King eats, and he delivers his own series. To add further context, that drops Moxley to his knee.

Garcia comes back in, yet King with a hip toss that sends him out to the floor. Bandido is in, and he takes off and hits a Swan Dive to both Mox and Garcia at ringside. On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into a mid-contest commercial break.

The show returns and we see King lands some hard shots on Mox in the corner before taking Garcia away with one last one. Mox drops to the mat from the impact, using the ropes to get back to his feet, only for Brody to send him back to the ropes.

They trade strikes again, until King blocks a lariat and goes for a powerbomb. Mox breaks free to take him down with a cutter, yet King is back on his feet already, before Jon lays him down with a lariat. Tags are made to Bandido and Garcia, the latter being launched into the corner with a belly to belly suplex by Bandido as we see Mox chatting with Shafir at ringside.

Garcia leaves the ring to get a breather, as Brody goes for a dive, yet is cut off when Marina stands in the way. In a connected development, she lets out a bark at Brody, who responds in kind. This goes back and forth, proving to be a distraction as Mox comes at King with a dive through the ropes.

He lays into Brody some more before landing a piledriver onto the floor, leading to Bandido looking for revenge, only to be sent into the barricade by Garcia. Mox brings Brody back into the ring before making the tag to Garcia, who drops King hard to the mat for a two count.

He lands a few more shots on King to keep him down before tagging in Jon, who brings King back to his feet before landing some shots to bring him to the corner. He digs his nails into the back of Brody before setting him up on the turnbuckle for a superplex off the top, continuing to keep the pressure on King as we go to ad break.

We resurgence just as Bandido gets knocked off the apron by Mox, leading to a tag to Garcia to keep things going. The Death Riders go back and forth on this, until King lays them out with a double lariat followed by a tag to Bandido! Torneo by the luchador takes the Continental Champion out, and a press slam sends Garcia on top of Mox.

Garcia leaves the ring as Mox goes after Bandido, but he gets sent into the ropes, where he cuts off Bandido from a 21 Plex attempt. Mox goes for a delayed vertical suplex on the luchador, who counters it with one of his own before Shafir slides into the ring with the ref distracted.

She goes for a suplex on Bandido, but Bandido hoists her up for a delayed vertical suplex before dropping her to the mat. Garcia comes back in on a tag, but gets taken out by Bandido, only for Mox to break the cover. Notably, brody takes Mox out of the ring as Bandido goes for an inside cradle, but Daniel counters for one of his own for a two count. Bandido sets him up for a 21 Plex as Brody dives through the ropes to keep Mox away, and this gets Brodido the win!

Winners: Brody King & Bandido In the back With The Don Callis Family

The pair celebrates as we cut backstage, where we hear from Protokada (Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada). Fletcher talks about bringing back the International Crown back to the Don Callis Family — but first they have some business to attend to regarding Forbidden Door.

They know one person who will NOT join Mark Briscoe, and that is Tomohiro Ishii — as we see Mark’s friend Conglomeration (and former CHAOS stablemate of Okada) laid out on the floor. The pair joke about Briscoe not being able to find friends for his notable tag contest before walking away. We head to another break.

Cope & Cage Attack The Dogs The Dogs duo of David Finley and Clark Connors make there way out to the building next. They appear to start picking on some production crew, only to find out it is Cope and Cage. A brawl breaks out and spills to the arena and ring.

Cope and Cage get the best of The Dogs and they bail to the venue seats. Cage grabs the mic basically calls out The Dogs Moms. Cope says they are doing a commendable job of what they were 30 years ago. He then goes on to say these old men are going to make the new dogs house broken little pups.

Backstage With Thekla, Brodido & The Death Riders Thekla cuts a segment behind the curtain on her approaching crown defense at Forbidden Door against Starlight. We then see Bandido and King are interviewed backstage. They claim are still a crown level team. Bandido was saying he is eager to a shot at the Continental Title. Moxley enters with Garcia. Mox tells him to shoot his shot at Forbidden Door.

Owen Hart Women’s Tournament: Mercedes Mone vs. Furthermore, hazuki Back to the ring we go for our next contest of the evening, which is women’s singles action in the ongoing 2026 Owen Hart Cup Tournament. The match starts of with Mone taking down her foe with some takedowns in a mocking fashon. Hazuki recovers and backslides Mone.

Hazuki then tornado head scissors Mercedes from the ring. We go to break. When the show returns, Mercedes got a two off a version of the unprettier. She then slams Hazuki’s crowd favorite into the apron from the floor. Additionally, the announcers spend a great deal of time reaping the praise on Mone.

Hazuki knocks Money to the floor and dives out on to her three times in a row. The live crowd is firmly behind Hazuki. She then locks in a cross-crowd favorite. Mone gets free and then starts the three amigos. She lands two, but fails on the third, but wrenches Hazuki’s arm on the bottom rope.

She then hits a meteora from the ring to the ramp. We head to a break, and when we resurgence, we see Mone get crotched on the top rope and DDT’d to the mat. Along those lines, hazuki transitions to a cross-fan favorite. Hazuki lands a senton for two. Mone breaks free.

They trade forearms from their knees. They both trade a kick and end up on the mat. Hazuki gets the best of her. Hazuki lands another DDT and thrust kick. Mone kicks out. Hazuki brain-busters Mone, who rolls then to the floor. Hazuki throws her back in.

Mone locks in the bank statement. Adding to the story, they trade roll ups back and forth. Huzuki breaks free. Mone lands a kick, back stabber and bank statement into a cross-face. Hazuki taps. Mone moves on to the finals of the 2026 Owen Hart Cup Tournament.

Winner and ADVANCING: Mercedes Mone Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland Attendees favorite-To-Face

Tony Schiavone calls out Will Ospreay, who mentions he just got married last week. He talks about consummating the marriage to the delight of the crowd. Schiavone calls out Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. Swerve tells Will he has changed.

Ospreay tells Swerve the only thing that changed is the way he looks at him. Swerve says they fought together all last year and now he palls around with who they fought. Meanwhile, ospreay says he didn’t forgive them, but he has moved on and training with them has made him a better fighter.

He then says where was he needed when he was attacked. He points at Forbidden Door. He then slaps the mic from Swerve’s hand. Swerve grabs the mic after a extremely personal rant by Ospreay. Swerve then delivers an emotional reply. Furthermore, the mic goes out.

Swerve says he is done stepping aside for everyone else. Now is his time. Nana then hands chains to Swerve. Will then sucker punches Swerve. Music hits and here comes The Death Riders. On a related note, swerve tells Ospreay he really has changed and then he leaves.

In the back With Chris Jericho Behind the curtain, we see Chris Jericho. He is interviewed in a brief portion, during which he continues his ongoing battle with “Tommy’s Mommy’s Baby Boy,” as he challenges Tommaso Ciampa to another showdown at over the past week’s AEW Collision.

Off-camera With Will Ospreay & The Death Riders From there, we shift gears and head into another brief backstage moment. We see Will Ospreay push Daniel Garcia into the wall. Jon Moxley calms him down and tells him to stay focus and do not lose control. He seems to be annoyed they helped him.

MJF, Andrade, Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Jake Doyle & Kevin Knight vs. Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Konosuke Takeshita & Darby Allin

It’s top encounter time! With MJF introducing his members via Don Callis at the start of the show, the end of the show brings with it the news of who will be on Mark Briscoe’s team for the 12-man cage contest at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 later this month.

MJF and his teammates make their way out for this six-on-six marquee bout battle — where all 12 men involved in the aforementioned cage match will do battle. Mark Briscoe comes out and one-by-one we learn who his teammates are. Additionally, they are Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Konosuke Takeshita and Darby Allin.

MJF and Briscoe appear to start the contest. Before anything really happens. Meanwhile, mJF and Andrade and don’t like each other and stare each other down. MJF tags in Andrade. On a related note, andrade throws Briscoe to the floor and poses with some admiring female audience.

Briscoe takes advantage of this and he and his teammates topped on him in their corner. Cassidy pulls down his pants and Andrade exits, leading to Fletcher and O’Reilly to meet. Kyle out wrestles Fletcher for a few minutes until his team has had enough and a brawl breaks out.

Darby coffin drops Jake and Takeshita dives on the rest of the Callis Family. MJF and Darby end up in the ring, but Kevin Knight jumps Darby from behind. Fletcher and Knight have shoving clash mid ring. They do not get along even though they are stablemates.

MJF loves the chaos and just jogs around the ring smiling. Adding to the story, on that note, the show shifts gears and heads into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues. When the show returns, we see MJF’s team working over Orange, while making quick tags.

Jake screws up and hurts MJF, much to the delight of Andrade. It's worth noting that roddy tags in and he delivers a series of backbreakers. He and Orange then double team Jake and Fletcher. Jake then gets a backbreaker from Roddy. Jake then delivers a shoulder breaker.

Kyle comes in and lariats and knee strikes Jake. Andrade and Darby end up in the ring. In a connected development, he back elbows him. Okada then tombstones Orange. Takeshita kicks Okada, although Fletcher half and half him. Takeshita then thunder-bombs Fletcher.

Briscoe then takes out Knight with a straight right. He then lands a flying forearm on Okada and suplexes Fletcher. He goes for a J-Driller on MJF, but Knight makes the save. Darby chases off Knight to the top of the ramp. Jake grabs Darby from the throat and they hurl him from the stage into the ring post.

From there, we see a J-Driller in the ring from Briscoe on MJF. This time it connects. Don Callis distracts the referee as the faithful boo like crazy. Briscoe goes for the top. Fletcher crotches him. Roddy tags in. Salt of the earth from MJF to Roddy and he taps out to end the contest.

Team MJF gets the win. In a connected development, they winners pound on Team Briscoe afterwards. Briscoe is departed in the ring with Andrade, MJF and Callis. Adding to the story, andrade and MJF shove each other, but they join together to take out Briscoe. Notably, the show goes off the air shortly thereafter. Thanks for joining us!
