AEW Dynamite is live tonight at 8/7c on TBS and HBO Max from Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, with the annual Grand Slam: Mexico installment of the presentation.
The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) & Cage & Cope (Christian Cage & Adam Copeland) vs. The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, & PAC)
We waste no time getting to action. Excalibur welcomes us to the spectacular with his “It’s Wednesday” routine, yet in Spanish — and outright states that “we’re coming to you live for the next two-and-a-half hours.” We’re going long, per usual, folks!
The ring entrances begin for our star-studded opening contest, and immediately it’s apparent that the audience inside Stadium Mexico is going to be completely and totally insane all night long. The commentators acknowledge that fact almost immediately.
The bell sounds and off we go, after the electric ring entrances for all eight men. Interestingly enough, kicking things off for their respective teams are Christian Cage and PAC. PAC goes after the banged up wrist of Christian. The two lock-up and this encounter is now officially off-and-running.
He gouges the eyes of PAC behind the ref’s back, although Daniel Garcia kicks Cage in the back as he’s running the ropes. Notably, all hell heck breaks loose. Order is kind of restored, as Cage and Cope lay out PAC in the ring. Building on that, and they wipe out all of the other Death Riders on the floor, the Bucks go through the ropes.
Cage on top of that comes off the top rope with a Crossbody to all of the Death Riders as we head into a mid-encounter break. We see The Death Riders in control of things, when the program returns. Beyond that, they clear everyone from the apron, and they run the clothesline train on everyone in sight.
A release German from PAC, and Garcia cinches on the Death Lock. Interestingly enough, the strong guys make the save — nick is still left to fight off the Death Riders. Nick looks to tag in Jon Moxley, who obviously isn’t his partner. And he lays into anything that moves, copeland does get the tag.
We see a double clothesline to Yuta and Garcia, and moxley surprises him with a cutter. Copeland and Matt Jackson look at each other, and we get a double 619. Moxley gets tripped into the ropes, Copeland with a splash to the back, Cage stands on his back, and the Bucks kick him in the head.
Although they fail to do so, the Death Riders look to save Moxley. Moxley gets kicked low by Cage as the ref is distracted — adding to the story, it’s down to Copeland and Moxley. But his guys save him this time, we see a triple super kick to Moxley.
Cope counters the Death Rider with the Impaler DDT. Copeland sets up for the spear and the those in attendance explodes. Marina Shafir grabs Cope by the hair. What's more, back in the ring, and Yuta hits a Busaiku Knee to Copeland. Interestingly enough, cage pulls Marina off the apron and he kicks her low.
We see some double teamwork to Cage, on the flip side the Bucks get the better of things. PAC leaps one Jackson and throws the other with a German. Copeland with the inverted DDT to PAC. Yuta has the ref as Copeland hits a spear. Copeland rolls up Moxley for a two. On another front, copeland bumps into Matt Jackson, and Moxley rolls up Copeland and holds the tights for the win.

Number One Spot In Casino GauntletTommaso Ciampa vs. Andrade El Idolo vs. Komander
A video package airs to promote Kenny Omega vs. And then we gear up for our second contest of the evening, will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship at AEW All In: London. Who will earn the number one spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In? It’s time to find out.
The men involved in this one make their respective ring walks, and now we’re officially off-and-running with this high stakes three-man showdown. A slow start with considerable playing to the those in attendance early on. Mocking the crowd as they boo, ciampa climbs the turnbuckle.
Before blindsiding Komander to send him out of the ring, ciampa confronts Andrade back in the center. Interestingly enough, el Idolo catches him off guard, sending him to the corner before setting up for a Meteora. Nothing doing as Komander sends him out of the ring before going at it with Ciampa.
Eventually, he sends him out of the ring as well. He follows up with a rope walk into the Spaceman dive. On a related note, he brings Andrade back into the ring, but El Idolo goes at it with him before sending him to the outside for a dive of his own.
We get the latest Andrade fan selfie moment on that note, as the show shifts gears and heads into a mid-contest commercial break. After a few more minutes of back-and-forth action Andrade gets the win with the DM. When the show returns, we see the action still in progress. And then things really pick up.
Winner and No. 1 Spot in All In: London Casino Gauntlet: Andrade El Idolo
Andrade addresses the fans in both Spanish and English, vowing to win the Casino Gauntlet and capture the AEW World Gold — not just for himself, but for his fans and for Mexico. As an added layer to this, to anyone who doubts him, he has one question: how do you know he secured’t?
The enthusiasts are fully behind El Idolo — until MJF’s music cuts through the ovation. The previous World Champion slides into the ring for the sneak attack, Triple B belt in hand. He rips his Dynamite Diamond Ring off Andrade’s finger, then uses it to land a shot of his own.
MJF hauls Andrade back out to ringside, screaming at him for taking what belongs to “Max” before driving him into the barricade. Andrade appears to be busted open as officials rush to check on him. MJF heads back inside the ring with a mic in hand.
He demands someone remove “that piece of trash” Andrade from his building, and taking a shot at the fans while he’s at it. MJF isn’t done. He revisits Beach Break, insisting he was cheated out of the gold against Kenny Omega — “thanks to Will Ospreay” —. Announces he’s entering the qualifying match in Vegas, promising to win it and get his rematch.
He says whatever happens at All In, MJF has set sights on it known: he’s the one true defending champion. He raises the Triple B as his music hits again, then heads back through the fans — getting into it with supporters on his way out as the segment cuts away. The episode moves on from there.
Willow Nightingale & The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor) vs. Mercedes Moné & Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross)
We go to a video package on the Women’s World Gold encounter between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné. We are reminded of what Moné articulated concluding week on Dynamite as she promises to take not only the championship from Willow but her smile as well. To add further context, we head to a break.
We head back to ringside as Divine Dominion make their entrance for our next match. Mercedes Moné makes her way out next, followed by the Brawling Birds and Willow Nightingale to get this match underway. Mercedes refuses to get in the ring with Willow as Megan Bayne starts things off with her instead.
Despite an early advantage by Bayne, Willow is able to fight back long enough to tag in Alex Windsor. Lena Kross comes in for an assist before Willow tags back in, only to be blindsided by Moné. She goes for a Three Amigos but things rapidly break down as all six women get into it.
A chain suplex leads to the tag champs being taken to the outside. There, Windsor and Nightinagle land a pair of cannonball sentons as Hayter sends Mercedes to the outside. She goes up top and lands a cross body on all three of her opponents as we go to an ad break.
Back in the ring are Moné and Willow, with the champ taking her future challenger down hard. Tags are made but chaos quickly ensues as Divine Dominion and the Brawling Birds fight it out — with Bayne being sent out before Hayter gets the drop on Kross.
Windsor gets a blind tag and the cover, still Bayne breaks up the three count by shoving Hayter into her. Birds and Dominion slug it out when they get back on their feet, and the Birds hit the ropes for a clothesline. The tag champs duck it but get taken down by the Birds anyway.
In come Willow and Mercedes to fight some more, with a chain of offense from each of the six women leading to a Death Valley Driver from Willow to Bayne. She turns her attention to Mercedes on the turnbuckle, who fights her way out before taking a clothesline from the champ.
Speaking of champs, Divine Dominion stop her from going after Moné before the Birds send them out of the ring. Adding to the story, moné escapes the Babe with the Powerbomb, however Willow counters out of a Money Maker for a backslide pin fall cover and the victory.
The trio celebrates on the ramp as we get a graphic confirming that the Brawling Birds will hero Divine Dominion at All In for the AEW Women’s World Partnership Prize. The champs and Moné stare down their opponents from inside the ring as commentary hypes up All In coming back to Wembley Stadium.

AEW International BeltKyle Fletcher vs. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey We get ready for our next match of the evening, which features a belt on-the-line — as AEW International Reigning champion Kyle Fletcher defends against ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey. Furthermore, back inside the event center, Bailey makes his entrance debut, showing off a lucha mask.
He then heads down to the ring. Out next is the reigning and defending belt-holder Fletcher, who has a mask of his own. He makes his way down to the squared circle and then the bell sounds to get this belt clash officially off-and-running.
Straight out of the gate, we see early flurry of offense from Bailey as he tries to take the champ off his game, although only gets a near fall for his efforts. The faithful is thrilled by what’s going down as Bailey grabs the hand of the champ — walking the ropes for a head-scissors sending Fletcher out of the ring.
Bailey then goes for a dive though gets caught in mid-air by the champ, who practically launches Bailey like a lawn dart into the guardrail. Don Callis getting some hate from the crowd as Fletcher brings his challenger back into the ring. He goes for a powerbomb but Bailey counters.
Eventually he sends Fletcher out of the ring. He gets a dive on Fletcher before going up top, but the champ stops him by coming back into the ring, only to take some hard kicks from Speedball, who follows with a shooting star press off the canvas for a two-count.
From there, the action heads to the corner as Bailey catches the champ by surprise, only to be dropped to the mat with an avalanche Michinoku Driver. The champ gets a close two count for this, with Bailey rolling out of the ring. On that note, we head into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
When the pay-per-view returns, we see things start to pick up back in the ring, with the audience really coming to life along the way. Notably, fletcher gets back into it, dropping Bailey hard before looking for a brainbuster. Mike gets sent to the outside for trying to break free, landing on the ramp.
Fletcher brings the challenger to his feet before walking him to the entrance stairs — although Bailey counters out of a suplex attempt, eventually dropping Fletcher to the ramp instead. Now it’s the challenger in control as he brings Kyle back to the ring, getting the drop on him for a close two count.
Both men get to their feet, on the flip side Kyle is taken to the corner with a thrust kick — only to fight back with a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall. The action spills out to the outside, where Fletcher drops the challenger on the apron with a powerbomb before bringing him back into the ring.
Brainbuster connects, on the flip side Bailey manages to kick out at two. Fletcher can’t seem to believe it as he goes after Bailey in the corner, only for Speedball to fend him off before landing Ultima Weapon on the champ. Bailey with the cover, but this time it’s the champ with a surprise kickout.
Bailey brings him to his feet, yet Kyle breaks free before sending Bailey into the turnbuckle face initial. He follows up with a turnbuckle brainbuster for the win to retain. Fletcher celebrates the win alongside Don Callis, but this is interrupted by the arrival of Kazuchika Okada, who has a stare down with Fletcher.

Mistico, Jericho & Darby Allin vs. Kevin Knight, Kazuchika Okada & Hechicero
Now we gear up for trios action as the rest of the ring entrances take place. While the other four men go at it in the ring, kevin Knight dives over the top rope onto Darby on the ramp. Darby gets sent to the floor below as Hechicero goes after Mistico.
Okada stomps away at Jericho in the corner. And this allows Jericho to fight back until Okada drops him with a dropkick, okada is preoccupied with mocking the crowd. Knight comes in now, sending Jericho to the ropes before Jericho fights back for a Death Valley Driver.
A tag made to Darby, and Knight backs off to the corner for a tag to Hechicero. Darby dodges a clothesline to send Kevin off the apron before dropping Hechicero. He sees an opening and goes for a dive through the ropes on Knight…yet Okada intercepts, dropping Allin to the floor.
On that note, the show heads into a mid-showdown commercial break as the action continues. We see Darby and Knight are back in the ring as Darby gets a tag to Mistico, when the show returns. Hechicero is signed with by Okada in beating down Mistico to a wave of boos.
Mistico fends them off before landing a rope walk headscissors on Knight, yet only gets a two count. Tag made to Darby, who takes Knight to the mat for a Scorpion Deathlock. Jericho goes for a Walls of Jericho on Okada, but Hechicero breaks it up.
Darby and Jericho land dives on Okada and Knight on the outside. Darby comes back into the ring although is cut off by Knight, who sets Darby up in a tree of woe. He goes for a Coast to Coast but gets caught with a Judas Effect by Jericho.
While Mistico lands a headscissors on Hechicero setting up for La Mistica, jericho stops Okada from doing a dropkick and locks in the Liontamer. Darby hits a Coffin Drop on Kevin Knight, and that gets the win. The team celebrates and the show moves on.
Winners: Mistico, Jericho & Darby Allin Persephone vs.. Meanwhile, Interestingly enough, kris Statlander
Now we head back to ringside, where we get entrances for Kris Statlander. Persephone, the spectators favoring the CMLL World Women’s Champion as we get this non belt-tilt officially off-and-running. Before Kris gets sent to the outside, the action goes back and forth at inaugural.
She goes into it with the champ on the outside before bringing Persephone back into the ring. It's worth noting that who lands a dive sending her down hard before having a confrontation with Thunder Rosa in the front row — stat gets onto the apron though is knocked to the floor by Persephone.
She brings Stat back into the ring to continue the attack, cinching in a sleeper hold. Stat tries to fight out of it however to no avail. On that note, the event shifts gears and heads into a mid-bout commercial break as the action in this one continues.
When the broadcast returns, we see things still ongoing between these two. We see some more back-and-forth action for a couple of minutes, with each lady having their turn of control time on offense. Persephone and Rosa get into it, which bumps the ref. We see interference from Hikaru Shida, leading to Persephone getting the win.

AEW Trios ChampionshipsThe Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, & Toa Liona) (c) vs. The Praiseworthy, The Underwhelming & The Ugly (Hangman Page, Bandido, & Brody King)
Now we gear up for another championship clash, as newly crowned AEW Trios Champions The Demand put their titles on-the-line against the makeshift team of Hangman Page, Bandido. Brody King, dubbed “The Praiseworthy, The Underwhelming and The Ugly.”
Hangman and Brodido get a special ring entrance with minis and a mariachi band, as they make their way to the ring for our next match. And with that we get things underway with our co-marquee match of the evening, the Demand make their entrance.
The crowd is on fire for this one from the start, while the Demand launch an attack before the bell. The bell sounds seconds later regardless. What's more, hangman takes Toa Liona to the mat with a Tiaras to open the match. Hangman to the top, still Liona throws him out of the way.
We see a blind tag from King, and he takes both Liona and Kaun to the ropes, he hits the ropes, and hits a double arm drag. Bandido fires up, as Hangman and Brody hold him up and he wipes out the entire group of The Demand on the floor at ringside.
From there, we see that Bandido is looking to to do the macarena with Hangman and Brody, but the two walked away with’t oblige. Interestingly enough, instead, King and Hangman end up on the floor courtesy of the Gates of Agony. Furthermore, kaun hits Bandido with a backbreaker over the top turnbuckle.
On that note, the presentation shifts gears and settles into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues. When the show returns, we see the match still in progress, with things rapidly picking up in and around the ringside area. Yet runs straight into a knee from Kaun, bandido fires up coming out of the break.
The Demand isolate him, sending him back into the ring where Ricky gets the tag and drives him into the corner. Although Bandido catches him in mid-air with a perfectly timed dropkick!, ricky goes for a springboard attack. Hot tag to Hangman, who storms in with clotheslines.
The clotheslines send the Gates of Agony to the floor before planting Ricky with a fall-away slam. Kaun eats a clothesline next, however Ricky answers with a knee strike. He looks for a rana, only for Hangman to counter into a Liger Bomb.
The Gates of Agony break it up and take Brodido out on the floor. What's more, ricky sends Hangman onto the apron and tries to keep control, though Page rocks him with a boot. Hangman teases the Buckshot Lariat, only for the Gates of Agony to cut him off before he can springboard.
They wipe out Brodido at ringside while Ricky connects with a senton on Hangman. Back inside, all four members of The Demand swarm Page before Ricky follows up with a Shooting Star Press for a close two-count. The Gates of Agony signal to finish things off, although Brody King storms back into the fight and chokes out Ricky.
This forces Liona and Kaun to switch their attention toward him. That distraction gives Hangman the opening he needs to break free. King crushes Bishop Kaun with a cannonball in the corner, but Ricky dumps King to the floor and uses Hangman as a human shield.
As Page blasts Ricky with a monumental lariat, it only delays the inevitable. Bandido gets the tag and looks for the 21-Plex, still overthrows Ricky, allowing Liona to tag himself in. Bandido hoists Ricky with an incredible one-handed military press before Liona barrels into the action.
Hangman and Kaun rejoin the fight, with Kaun getting launched into the barricade. Liona stacks Hangman and Bandido in the corner, then Kaun adds Brody King to the pile. Liona presses all three guys across the ring before hitting an enormous Samoan drop for a wild crowd reaction.
King fires back with a release German suplex on Ricky before diving onto Kaun at ringside. Bandido tries the 21-Plex on Liona, and Hangman adds a boot to the head, though the powerhouse still refuses to go down. It's worth noting that giving Bandido just enough of an opening, hangman at last levels Liona with the Buckshot Lariat.
Bandido uses the opening to finish the 21-Plex for the cover. We have brand new AEW Trios Champions. After the contest, the celebration is on as the new champions in the end get to do the Macarena in the ring. Kemalito joins in the festivities as the spectators celebrates alongside the new champions.

Mexico City Street Fight (With No Run-in)Will Ospreay vs. Mark Davis It’s main special event time!
A Mexican Street Fight, where all outside interference is banned — is up next, with ex tag-team partners turned rivals Will Ospreay and Mark Davis doing battle. Davis marches to the ring armed with a steel chair, and will Ospreay comes out to a rock star reaction.
The bell sounds and Mark hurls the chair at Ospreay, though it sails wide. No miss on the follow-up, though, as Davis connects with a colossal back splash. But Will reverses out of danger, he wedges the chair into the corner and goes to whip Ospreay into it.
Ospreay dumps Davis to the floor, fires up the attendees, then flies with a crossbody off the apron! Davis doesn’t go down, instead he drives Ospreay spine-initial into the barricade. Ospreay grabs it looking to level Davis, though Mark boots it away and scoop slams Will right down onto it. Here comes a bicycle tire.
Davis whips for the hammer throw, but it is reversed, while ospreay sends him crashing into the barricade instead. Davis fires back, launching Ospreay into the live crowd, but Will answers with a kick to the skull, climbs a few steps up. Comes crashing down off the barricade to flatten Davis.
Davis tumbles to the floor and Ospreay’s right behind him. Will goes up top for a Snap Rana off the apron, yet no dice, as Davis catches him with a Powerbomb onto the apron instead. Meanwhile, davis starts tossing chairs everywhere, then produces a Rubbermaid trash can.
Back inside the ring, Ospreay unloads with a running elbow, while cover, still Davis kicks out at just a count of one. Davis grabs the chair again and cracks it across Will’s back. He’s teeing up the headshot, but Ospreay springboards in maiden with a Corkscrew Kick, driving the chair straight into his opponent’s head.
He whips it at Ospreay’s head, and then plants him with a Powerbomb over the barricade. On that note, the episode shifts gears and heads into what will likely be the final commercial break of the evening. Ouch. When the show returns, we see the action in our headlining bout street fight still in progress.
We reappearance to find the fight spilling onto the stage, with Davis shoving Ospreay down the stairs and onto the ramp. Reaching for chairs and weapons to open him up — propping him onto a chair before raking a fork across his forehead — davis keeps the assault going once he hauls Will back inside the ring.
Davis charges for what looks like a cannonball, still Ospreay sidesteps and drives him babyface-first into the chair with a drop toe hold. Then Ospreay turns the fork on Davis with a shot of his own, a cutter follows to keep the momentum. He sets up for the Hidden Blade in the corner, but Davis cuts him off with a lariat first.
Davis lifts Ospreay and plants him — seemingly on his neck — onto a barbed wire-wrapped chair, though somehow it’s only commendable for two! Dunkzilla peels the wire loose and starts wrapping it around his arm, giving Ospreay just enough time to fire back — cracking a chair across Davis’ babyface to stop the lariat cold.
Ospreay stands Davis up on the apron, yet Davis fights him off and goes hunting for a pendulum piledriver. He grabs for the wire again — only for Ospreay to dramatic pivot it around and spike him with a piledriver onto the hardest part of the ring! Davis spills to the floor and barely beats the referee’s count back in.
Davis goes right back after Ospreay, who catches him in a crucifix cover for two. Davis ducks a kick attempt into a major driver of his own, on the flip side that’s commendable for another near-fall as well. He loops the wire around his arm looking for the lariat, but Ospreay counters into a Styles Clash — and somehow Davis kicks out!
Ospreay unloads with diving elbow strikes, then wraps the barbed wire around Davis’ throat for a twisted variation of the Hidden Blade to put him away for impressive. Ospreay takes a moment to climb back to his feet as the referee raises his hand. He soaks in the victory as the commentators take us off the air.
