A Closer Look: WWE Tried Something Brand New This Week On Television
They tried something new. WWE has been around for a very long time and that they are going to have more than a few different ways to present their product. One of the most important ideas is how well the matches are shot. Some of these methods are going to be a bit more notable than others and sometimes WWE will mix things up a little bit. That is what they tried again this week.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE used a different production technique during this week’s edition of NXT. This week’s show featured a camera operator in the ring with the wrestlers, who had to move around the camera operator instead. The new technique was used during the Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Creed Brothers match among others. There is no word on if this is something that will be done on a regular basis going forward.
Opinion: I don’t know if this is going to make that much of a difference in the broadcast, but it is a nice idea to see WWE trying something, even anything, new. The shows feel like they have been presented in the same way for a long time now and it is great to see that WWE is at least making some kind of an effort. This might not make a difference, but it is better than nothing.
What do you think of the new technique? What production changes should WWE make? Let us know in the comments below.
