It’s a side gig. There are a lot of people in WWE and some of them have been around for a very long time. As a result of that longevity, they are often given special responsibilities that can make WWE feel more important. Occasionally this is something that will be seen by a lot of people at the same time and that will be the case again, as a WWE star is crossing over into another sport.

The Miz has been announced as a member of the NBA Ruffles Celebrity Game over All-Star weekend. Miz will be on Team Ryan along with names such as Kane Brown, Calvin Johnson, Ozuna, Albert Pujols and more. The game will be held on Friday February 17 and airs on ESPN. Miz has also participated in the Major League Baseball Celebrity Softball game over the years and is a two time MVP.

Opinion: This is where Miz shines and it makes a lot of sense to put him in this spot. Miz is one of the perfect ambassadors for WWE, as he is able to go out there and do just about anything asked of him. You don’t have to worry about Miz doing anything horrible and he can make WWE feel entertaining at the same time. It’s one of the things he does best and it is on display again here.
