William Regal Apologized For A Mistake In His First AEW Dynamite Appearance

That is a professional. There are certain wrestlers who come across as nice, professional people. Sometimes you see someone who just comes off like they love wrestling and want to make it a better place for everyone involved. It makes for some very nice moments when they get to show that love to everyone else and that was the cae this week, even if it wasn’t how things were supposed to go.

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite featured Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson winning a tag match. After the match was over, Moxley and Danielson’s manager William Regal got in the ring to explain why he made his AEW debut on Sunday at Revolution. Regal spoke about his history in wrestling and how he knew both men, who he wanted to see succeed. However, Regal has since apologized on Twitter, saying that his promo went on too long, causing issues for the rest of the show. Regal said that he apologized to everyone backstage and that he should be leading by example. There is no word of any heat on Regal.

This is a Professional note from me as I have no other form of SM and would rather my new colleagues see this as I don’t like gossip. I’m am very sorry to everyone effected by my time issues last night. I apologized to everyone personally effected..1/2

2/2 I should be showing people by example and being a Pro and hitting my times.

Opinion: Maybe I’m going out on a limb here but I think Regal can be forgiven for what he did. It was an emotional speech from someone who is beloved in wrestling and has the track record to back up what he was saying. The speech made me want to see where things were going, as Regal is kind of a perfect fit in the whole story. Hopefully he is given the chance to show what he can do, as this could be very interesting.
