WWE Hall Of Famer Announces Prostate Cancer, Undergoing Surgery

There is never a good way to put this. Wrestlers are larger than life figures but they are real people when the cameras go off. That means they are going to have things that take place in their lives that are not the best situations in the world, and unfortunately it seems that we are seeing another such problem. This time though, it could be about as serious as it can get.

WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan has revealed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the video announcement, Duggan says that he is undergoing emergency surgery on Friday October 29. This comes in the same month that Duggan had another emergency surgery for an undisclosed issue. Duggan has previously beaten kidney cancer in the 1990s.

Duggan is quite the legend. Check out his announcement, plus some happier times:

Opinion: This is never good to hear but maybe the surgery can get rid of the cancer for good. Duggan is still one of the most famous stars ever for his pure charisma alone and it would be great to have him around a lot longer. He is someone who figured out something that worked for him and went with it for a long time. Now hopefully he can find a way to beat this again.
