VIDEO: AEW Star Suffers Terrifying Crash, Seems To Be Ok

That could have been horrible. No matter how skilled or trained a wrestler may be, there is always the chance that something could go wrong during a match. Anything from a mistake to a slip to some kind of an equipment malfunction could cause major problems and someone could get hurt as a mistake. Some of these can look a lot worse than others and that was the case this weekend.

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured a match between Lance Archer and Eddie Kingston. During the match, Archer attempted a moonsault but landed on top of his head. Archer rolled to the floor for a few moments before returning to the ring, where Kingston immediately rolled him up for the pin. Archer has since posted about the incident, saying “I’ll live! Thank ya Lord!” and talking about how he under rotated on the moonsault and it could have been much worse. He also thanked AEW for taking care of him and promised to be back.

I’ll live! Thank ya Lord!

Opinion: I’ve been watching wrestling for a pretty long time now and that was one of the scariest things I can remember seeing. Archer is a big man and he landed square on his head. It was quite the relief to see him moving around, as you never can tell just how bad something is going to be. I can accept the fact that it was a simple mistake, but my goodness that was scary at the time. Hopefully he’s back soon, because that could have been a lot worse.

What did you think of the match? What should Archer do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
