Vince McMahon Scripted TV Series Announced

He’s pretty interesting. There is no one in the wrestling world like Vince McMahon and that might be a great thing. McMahon is a lot of things, including the most powerful person in the wrestling world, but he does not have the cleanest past in the world. There are several scandals and situations throughout McMahon’s history. Now we are about to see a closer look at one of the bigger ones.

WWE has announced that it will partner with Blumhouse Studios on a limited scripted series called “The United States Of America vs. Vince McMahon.” The series will focus on McMahon being charged with steroid distribution in 1994. McMahon himself will serve as an executive producer on the series. There is no word on when the series will air or which network will air it.

This could go a lot of different ways. Check out McMahon doing his thing over the years in WWE:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that sounds interesting until you get to the details. McMahon as an executive producer is going to take away a lot of the interest of the series as we will get the WWE version of events. That means a lack of anything overly controversial for the most part, but we might get a little something here and there. It could have some moments, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

What do you expect from the series? What story should get a similar treatment? Let us know in the comments below.
