The match was Edge’s first in nearly nine years and started him on a path back to the main event of WrestleMania earlier this year. Edge lost in his Universal Title match against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, but has not been seen since. So just where has he been?

RUMOR: WWE Cutting More Wrestlers Soon

They aren’t done yet. With so many people on the WWE roster, there are only so many places to put all of them. WWE even has multiple television shows throughout the week, including one going all the way from England with NXT UK. At some point you have to get rid of a few of them though, and that seems to be the case again, as more names might be on the way out.
According to the Mat Men Podcast, there may be some releases coming from the NXT UK roster at some point in the near future. There is no word on which names will be released. This comes after a series of releases throughout the WWE roster, including both the main roster and NXT, beginning in the middle of April. Budget cuts have been cited as the reason for the releases.
NXT UK has a lot of talent. Check out what they have been doing as of late:

Next Up: Future Plans For WWE Intercontinental Title

Looks like they’re next. Titles can open up a lot of doors for all kinds of wrestlers. It is really easy to come up with a way to present a title match because all you have to do is slot someone in to face a champion. That lets you decide where to go with anything you want, which is the case in WWE as well. Now we know who might be next to go after one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Kevin Owens is the likely next challenger for Apollo Crews’ Intercontinental Title. Owens and Crews were both part of last week’s four way Intercontinental Title match on SmackDown when Aleister Black interfered to take out Big E., seemingly sending them off into their own feud. Owens has been talking about how much he wants the Intercontinental Title in recent weeks.
Owens is a former two time Intercontinental Champion, having held the title in 2015 and 2016. Crews is in his first reign with the title, having defeated Big E. during the second night of ..

Enzo Amore Taken To Hospital After Indy Show

Well that probably hurt. Wrestling is a physical sport and it can included some rather dangerous moments. No matter how well trained or experienced a wrestler may be, there is always an element of danger in what they are going to do. It does not help when the wrestlers try something that makes things even more over the top than usual, which was the case again this weekend with a former WWE star.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, former WWE star Enzo Amore was knocked unconscious at a SWE event in Texas on Saturday night. During the match, Amore took a DDT on the floor and was legitimately knocked out, resulting in him having to go to the hospital. There are no other details on his condition, though Amore did thank fans for their support on Twitter Sunday morning.
Amore is a former WWE star, wrestling on the main roster from 2016-2018 before being released over issues involving a sexual assault charge. Since then, Amore has mainly focused on his music career, though he has recent..

WWE RUMOR: NXT Bringing Back Classic Title

Put it on the list. There are a lot of titles in the wrestling world today and WWE has quite a few of them. With so many titles around, you can present a lot of wrestlers with individual stories. Several of the titles are interchangeable. That is not the case with all of them though, as there are a few championships which can only apply in certain circumstances. That seems to be the case again in NXT.
According to the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, the Million Dollar Title will be appearing in NXT to continue the feud between Ted DiBiase and Cameron Grimes. DiBiase introduced the title in 1989 and kept it around until 1992 when DiBiase moved on to the tag team division. It has returned over the years in various incarnations. It is not clear how the title will be used in NXT.
DiBiase appeared in NXT last month, following Grimes making a fortune off of the stock market. Grimes has since attempted to buy various expensive items, only to be thwarted by DiBiase at every turn. This led to ..

WATCH: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler From Stomping Grounds 2019

This is what the people want to see. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full match between Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship from Stomping Grounds 2019.
You can see the match in its entirety below:

From WWE.com:
Surrounded by twisted steel with a chance to capture his first WWE Title, Ziggler used his “should have been me” mentality to nearly escape the cage twice within the first several minutes of the contest. Kingston also made a break for it before the two settled into an incredible back-and-forth matchup.
Dolph delivered on everything he promised, using the cage as a weapon every chance he got. With Kingston staggered, the relentless Showoff continued to brutalize the champion. Kofi answered by literally turning Dolph into the cage, much like Ziggler had done to him. Kofi’s title reign was in jeopardy when he had to survive several devastating leg locks and a Zig Zag, but h..

WWE Hall Of Famer Lands New Movie Role

Maybe it works for him. Wrestlers have a weird relationship when it comes to acting. Some of them take to it naturally, but a lot of the time it feels like you are watching a wrestler reading movie lines. Every now and then you see something that works out though and it can make for quite the success. We might be seeing that take place again with a certain wrestling legend.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be appearing in the upcoming romantic comedy “Ask Me To Dance”. The movie is being filmed in Rochester, New York and will star Brana Evigan, Joyce DeWitt and Mario Cantone. There is no word on what role Angle will be playing in the film. Angle has dabbled in acting during and after his wrestling career, with his biggest role being as a mixed martial artist in Warrior.
Angle has had some rather funny moments over the years. Check out some of his better times:

WWE Interested In Signing International Star

Bring him in. Wrestling is one of the truly international sports as several countries have not only their own wrestlers, but also their own version of wrestling. That can make for some interesting combinations, as you can see wrestlers from one country coming into another and get quite the result. That might be the case again as WWE is interested in an international star.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in signing Speedball Mike Bailey to the company. Bailey is a Canadian wrestler who has mainly wrestled in Canada and Europe for the last several years due to visa issues in America. Should WWE sign him, they would work on resolving those issues so that he could could wrestle in the United States.
Back in 2016, Bailey came into the United States and worked a show for Evolve Wrestling without having a work visa in the country. As a result, he was banned from entering the United States for five years, with the ban recently expiring. Bailey has also wrest..

VIDEO: Daniel Bryan And More Teased For Impact Wrestling Slammiversary

What could be. While it might not be as popular as it was before, there is no denying that WWE is still the biggest and most successful wrestling promotion in the world today. They have more exposure and more fans watching their product than anyone else, meaning that a wrestler working for them is going to get a lot of exposure. That status can continue even after they leave, and now a company is teasing some upcoming appearances.
Impact Wrestling has released a new ad teasing appearances from Daniel Bryan, the IIconics and the Forgotten Sons for Slammiversary on July 17. The video features a series of fast paced images, including the word YES (Bryan), the letters II (IIconics) and “Forgotten” (Forgotten Sons, Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake). All of these wrestlers have left WWE in recent weeks and would be available to appear at the show as their no compete clauses would have expired.
This is an updated version of a similar video that Impact Wrestling releases a few weeks ago, which ..

WWE Working On Major Appearance For Return Of Live Fans

Yeah that would work. There are certain wrestling stars who are going to get attention no matter what they do. These names are very rare and a lot of their ability to draw an audience is based on what they have done over the course of their career. That is the case with a certain name that WWE is attempting to bring in for one of their biggest shows in a long time.
According to F4WOnline.com, WWE is attempting to have John Cena appear at the July 16 SmackDown in Houston, Texas. There is currently no deal in place to have Cena make an appearance, though it is something WWE is hoping to get done. The show will mark the first time since March 2020 that WWE has been out of the state of Florida and the first event with a full capacity of fans.
Cena has mostly left WWE to focus on an acting career and has been filming Peacemaker, a spinoff of the Suicide Squad film. Despite his acting commitments, Cena has still made occasional appearances for WWE, including facing Bray Wyatt in a Firefly ..
