Jeff Hardy Possibly Returning to WWE

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that a source within WWE says that there have been a lot of mentions of Jeff Hardy going around backstage. There was a recent poll on WWE.com where Hardy was listed as one of the potential returns. The Hardys were also mentioned during the segment with Edge, Christain and The Dudley Boyz which could be attributed to the fact that it would be insufficient to talk about their history without mentioning the Hardys.
The Observer also reports that the public mentions of Jeff Hardy were not encouraged in WWE before. Currently, Hardy is signed with TNA Wrestling and it could be speculated that a WWE return could happen as TNA is looking to reduce their costs due to their situation with Destination America. Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy are believed to be the two highest paid performers with TNA.
